I found the earlier products of V2 Cigs below par. The battery was underpowered and did not generate enough vapors which left me craving for real cigarettes. The unresponsiveness of the battery was due to faulty battery design, a flaw which the company has now corrected. Since the battery had been weak, I could barely taste the flavors. This too has been corrected as the battery has been replaced with a stronger more robust one.

I have to say this is something v2 has eliminated completely.  The new kits as of May 2012 are shipping with portable charging cases, these can charge your batteries on the go.  In addition, the ‘Ultimate kit’ has 3 batteries included and a range of auto, wall and pc chargers.  Battery life isn’t even an issue anymore with this amount of back-up!

Positive Reviews

The new improved V2 Cigs product line is simply amazing. I tried the mid range $109.95 traveler kit, which has two batteries, 15 nicotine refill cartridges, ac charger, USB wall adaptor, car charger, charging case, notebook cig. The notebook cig is a handy accessory as it does not need charging, just plug it directly into a USB port and charge your cigarette.

More recenty, I purchased a new Ultimate kit.  The improved battery has made a world of difference to the volume of vapor generated; now it feels like real smoke that hits the throat fully, leaving me completely satiated. Oh Yes, the refills last more than you would expect, certainly more than I’ve experienced with other brands.

In fact, I found that one nicotine cartridge equaled one normal tobacco cigarette pack.  Other brands make this claim but many don’t come close.   You have three different battery makes to choose from; one which lasts 160 puffs, 200 puffs and 300 puffs. I found this choice a great way to limit my smoking volume. Of over 400 reviews that I have read whilst conducting my research, their where very few negatives to be found.  Any negative reviews where supplemented by saying that the company had rectified the issue.  As I said, the faulty batteries a couple of years ago are a thing of the past.

Conclusion

In the electronic cigarettes market, V2 Cigs stands out.  They are reliable and amazing value for money – the manufacturers have taken care to offer a wide range of five products to cater for the budget conscious to the better off. The company has been prompt to respond to early customer complaints and has rectified the design errors in its battery, which now delivers sufficient power to allow smokers to get a full throaty smoke which is as good as real tobacco smoke. the vapor has to be the thickest and most creamy in the industry without question.

I think this is a product that definitely aces the electronic cigarette category and would recommend it to anyone wishing to find a safer alternative to smoking.

Safe Cig Review

Electronic cigarettes have received plenty of bad press because most folks find the products too unnatural to really use them as substitutes for the real McCoy. However, one product claims to be different – Safe Cig. This electronic cigarette comes in a two-piece format where the disposable cartridge is screwed on to the ‘butt’ that has a rechargeable battery, an LED and a flow sensor. When the user sucks air, the battery gets activated, which heats the cartridge and nicotine vapor is created, which is then inhaled by the smoker. Each cartridge is supposed to be equal to two packs of real cigarettes. The USB charger that comes along with the kit, charges up the battery and users can smoke continuously for two hours after which another recharge is required. This electronic cigarette retails for $69.95 at the lower end for a starter kit, $ 89.95 for a starter kit pro and finally the high end $137.95 for a starter kit deluxe package. Now that is a lot of money for a packet of hi-tech fags, so a proper review of the product is warranted.

The Negative Reviews

The cartridges come in various nicotine concentrations staring from 24 mg down to zero. I found some user complaints that the 24 mg cartridge is too strong extremely silly. My advice – don’t use those, after all the whole idea is to gradually wean off from smoking. I also found the grouse that that the safe cig is expensive misleading. Another negative review that I came across was that it comes in only three flavors mimicking actual tobacco and there are no fruity flavors.

The Positive Reviews

The positive reviews are overwhelming. Over 250 reviews that I checked out, rave about how close to the real thing safe cigs are. I particularly liked the review of one happy customer talking about his success in reaching zero concentration nicotine within six months of using this product. I think users really like this product is because the refill cartridge actually lasts long and is equal to two packets of tobacco cigarettes. The life time warranty of the kit means that customers are assured of after sales service should something go wrong with the kit. I recommend, as most buyers of safe cig do; to invest in the high end pack – the starter kit deluxe because the kit contains a carrying case, a car charger, a USB charger, three batteries and extra refills. The three batteries means the user can have one battery charged continuously and thus can keep smoking at will.

Conclusion

The safe cig is a great product because it works as advertized. I found very few negative reviews for this product except gripes that it was too expensive (nothing premium comes cheap), and that it had only three authentic flavors but not fruity flavors. Well, I do not think the manufacturers intended this product to be used by kids! The price may seem a bit steep but then it is a quality product that comes with a lifetime warranty, so I guess, it is worth a try, especially if you plan to quit smoking at some stage.

Green Smoke Review

How can smoking be Green? Well it can be, if the cigarette is an electronic cigarette that atomizes nicotine vapor and produces no smoke or secondary inhalation problems. Green Smoke smokeless cigarettes have a great design, just two pieces, in which the nicotine filled cartridge is just screwed on to the battery and the cigarette is ready to be smoked. Just suck, the flow sensor will activate the battery and heat up the nicotine, releasing vapor that feels like real smoke in the throat. There are seven flavors to choose from and five different nicotine concentrations; 0, 4, 12, 18, and 24 mg. The company‘s kit costs an expensive $109 and many wonder whether it is worth the money.

Negative Reviews

The cost is high and that price point is sufficient to deter many a ‘would-be’ buyers. I found a few reviews griping about poor battery performance. The lack of sufficient flavors was another grouse that I found some of the buyers had expressed. I also found a few die-hards complaining that the flavors were “too bland,” whatever that means.

Positive Reviews

The cigarette feels like a real fag and when held in the mouth and sucked, the battery kicks in, filling the throat with a full blast of nicotine vapor. No Sir, I did not find the battery weak at all. Assembling the cigarette is easy, just put in the refill cartridge and screw the same on the battery. The two piece design is just great. I found the battery charger quite handy and initial charge takes about two hours. Then I could puff away for one hour non-stop. The grouse against having only seven flavors is silly. After all, most smokers would prefer the flavor of real tobacco or at the most of menthol. The five level nicotine concentrations are well thought out because if someone has to quit smoking, it has to be done gradually. Start at 24 mg for the really heavy smoker and reduce it to 18 mg within a week or two, then stay at that level for a few weeks till the body gets used to lesser concentration and then go a notch down till zero concentration. Remember, the lower the concentration, the longer the period it takes for the body to ‘acclimatize’. Yes, I tried it all the way down to zero concentration but it took me more than six months. That is a realistic estimate of time that it takes to kick the habit. Well not entirely, because I still need to drag on the zero concentration cartridge. The best part of the product is that I can smoke it any where I want, in my office, in a restaurant and a public place.

Conclusions

Green Smoke is pricey but it works. The reviews that I analyzed, over 200 of them, have mostly given favorable account of the product. The design is great and I found it easy to use. However, the high cost means that those who are just contemplating switching over to electronic cigarettes may be tempted to buy cheaper products. Is it green? Most definitely yes, no smoke, no secondary inhalation, no pollution, no tar, no ash, just try it if you have a $ 100 to spare.
