The attractively named and packaged, South Beach Smoke is a smokeless electronic cigarette that promises to give the feel of real cigarette smoke and take care of nicotine craving. This product comes in three variants, Premium starter kit at $29.99, Deluxe starter kit at $49.99 and Premium Plus starter kit at $59.99. Each kit basically comes equipped with a lithium ion rechargeable battery, one atomizer, one wall charger, and six large nicotine cartridges. The higher end versions have extra refills and extra USB charger and a car charger along with a $100 rebate coupon for purchasing refills. The refills come in various flavors from the standard tobacco flavors to more fruity flavors. The company offers 30 days return back offer and a life time warranty.

What is the best deal of this product? The 30 day return offer, just use it fast, because I found this product to be nothing but a packet full of troubles. The smoke is not good enough, not enough volume. I kept sucking and sucking with no real feeling of smoke in my throat. The battery does not charge properly. The cigarette leaks liquid, why? Because they do not screw down properly on to the battery! Talk about quality control. The company brochure says that liquid can leak into your mouth if you do not hold the cigarette exactly horizontal in your mouth. Complain to the company and they promise a lot but are extremely tardy in sending in the replacements. The USB charger despite replacement, still failed to work. The company representatives are great at sending emails. One email comforted me to say that replacements would arrive in 20 days. Sure it did, but by then I had lost patience with the product and shifted over to the more expensive but perfectly reliable V2 Cigs.

Now this is a tough one. The only positive thing that I can say about this product is that it is cheap and the black carrying case looks smart. I came across only two customer reviews where buyers have reported being satisfied with this product. Maybe the company will realize the number of deficiencies that are being reported by most of its customers and take remedial action. If anything else, it really does test your patience!

The South Beach Smoke though packaged attractively, is precisely that – all smoke that never really works. I think the mistake with this product is that the company tried to make it cheap and scrounged on the quality. As a result, almost nothing works, the smoke delivery is poor, the cartridges leak and do not fit properly over the battery. The battery is faulty, the charger also has problems and the customer service is lethargic. Of over 100 reviews that I analyzed, majority of the buyers had serious issues with the product. This is one brand of smokeless electronic cigarette that I will not recommend to anyone. Stay far away from it as you can and do not get tempted by the cheap price.
